is conducting her Masters' Thesis on the effects of ectoparasites
on growth and mortality of nestlings and the evolution of bird
defenses. Susanne is
researching differential allocation in relation to sexual selection
and is generally interested in evolution of animal communication.
Jerod is interested
in the evolution and ecology of paternal care and investigates
the evolution of indicators of parental performance in birds.
